Annual Dinner 2019 – Railway Benefit Fund

The RBF has held our Annual Fundraising Dinner in Glasgow for 12 years, with many wonderful events at the Grand Central hotel, providing an iconic and historic back drop. The Dinner is our biggest regular Fundraising Event. The charity relies on fundraising activities to be able to continue to support railway employees and their families across the UK.

This year, RBF have taken on board (excuse the pun) feedback from our ever-growing network of support, for the first time ever, their dinner is going to be hosted in the charity’s home town of Crewe at the historic and iconic Crewe Hall! The evening will be named ‘Gin and Jazz’ embracing the glamour and vibes of an iconic local venue with a popular twist. The evening will bring fine food, great entertainment and a platform for crucial fundraising.

The RBF has some exciting projects and campaigns coming up to further engage with the industry and raise awareness of the work that we do. Remaining fresh and relevant is crucial to us! It seemed a great time to review our flagship Fundraising event.

The RBF would like to acknowledge the huge support their Scottish Committee have given over the last 12 years and the warmth of reception in Scotland was consistently fantastic. The hope is that with the wide accessibility of Crewe Station, our Scottish supporters will still be able to join in the fun but with easier access for the wider industry.

Crewe Hall is only 2 miles from Crewe Station. You can arrive at Crewe Station within 3 hours from Glasgow and only 1 hour 30 minutes from London.

We will even be providing a transfer coach from Crewe Station to Crewe Hall for our guests to arrive in time to start celebrating with us!
